Перевел так: "Это хорошо согласуется с воплощенной перспективой, потому что с эволюционной точки зрения внутренних моделей это не то, что отключается от первой  очень специфичной функции, и они работают в сервисе определенной стратегии поведения (Glenberg 1997)."
Но не уверен, что это точно и правильно. В статье речь идет об экспериментах по искусственному интеллекту, и о построении роботов-моделей для проведения таких исследований. Фраза вот в таком контексте:
